Dan Norwood Tech Tuesday Even Though It’s Thursday

It’s time to start something I will call “Tech Tuesday” (even though today is Thursday). People tend to forget that behind every company is a group of actual people. If you have good people who work together well as a team, odds are you will have a good company. The opposite is true as well. I’d be lying if I said we at Carolina Pest were all saints, but we are a company comprised of good people. With any service company the key, besides actually providing good service, is the personal relationships employees have with the customers. I believe we do a good job of letting our customers know that WE CARE.

My first subject of Tech Tuesday is Dan Norwood, and Dan represents that mindset of caring very well; he is a good face of the company. He might be a bit “smart” at times, but he represents the company well.

Where are you from originally?

I was born and raised in Monroe.

What jobs have you held previously?

Before coming to Carolina Pest I was a real estate broker.

What brought you to Carolina Pest?
After marrying my wife, I decided I needed a job with a steady paycheck.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I enjoy the new experiences that come with every day. I never know whether I will be fighting bees or exterminating ants when I first start my day.

What value do you add to your customers’ lives?

I enjoy getting to know my clients while eliminating their pesky pests. I also strive to do my best from the very beginning so as not to take up too much of their time. I will not stop until the ants are gone, Mosquitoes are dead, etc.

Tell us a little about Dan the person-music, interests, family, etc.

To use the popular Wheel of Fortune quote “I am married to my beautiful wife Treena”. We have two children, Porter and Cooper. I enjoy any activity that involves me using a saw or nail gun.

What makes Dan “Dan”?

I try to make people laugh everyday. It makes me happy to know that I have made you smile for a few seconds no matter how bad your day may be.
